--- About the Author ---
... Justin de-lurks ...
I'm British, my first school was a French maternelle, and my wife is German.
I attended the European School in Oxfordshire, then did a Mechanical
Engineering degree at Surrey University. I worked on a multimedia
Physics educational software project for three years since graduating
and I now work for a computer consultancy near London.
- I was born in Chester, England, on April 9th 1971, just after
decimalization of the British coinage.
- At an early age I was exposed to the wonderful world of
Model Railways. I am
interested in building model cottages and wagons and other
things in small scale.
- We had a computer from about 1982 - a BBC Micro. A great piece of kit.
- At school, German was the only thing I failed (and look where that got me!)
- I met God after two weeks at University. "The foolishness of God is
wiser than man's wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger
than man's strength" (1 Corinthians
1:25).
- One of my current interests is
Computer-graphics, particularly the computationally expensive
varieties such as ray-tracing and radiosity. I don't claim to be
very good at it, but the aim is realism.
