Barry Loraine's 5inchrail.com
site started as a resource for 5 inch gauge railways,
and branched out to include suppliers to the 7¼" gauge market,
links to railways in other large scales, and other resources useful to
the model engineer. He has recently added a shop where he sells Greasetop
hats and other railway-related goods
The BPLR
The BPLR,
now lifted, was a home-made 10¼ inch railway in
Buckinghamshire, England.
The sit-in locomotive photographed right was powered by
a Honda Petrol engine and driven via a hydrostatic
gearbox.
